Title: 18 foot Caboose and Cattle Car
Post by: hockler62 on March 28, 2017, 04:33:14 PM
Will we ever see a Caboose or Cattle Car in the 18 foot range? A side door Drover's Caboose would be useful to carry a few passengers. I do wonder if Bachmann is walking away from this range and ON30 in general.

It looks like they have a new favourite called Thomas and friends.
Is a bigger market.

If they make a caboose to match the 18" freight cars I'll get one!

18 feet would be comically short for a cattle car...  :-\

Mount Blue Model Company makes a cattle car body that fits on the Bachmann 18-foot flat car. I have built three of these kits so far and even installed cattle in them. Mount Blue also makes  kits for an 18-foot refrigerator car and various short cabooses.

Dear All,
We recently released a series of cabeese built on the 18" flat car.
For a stock car Mount Blue is a great idea.
Have fun!

18 feet would hold 4 and a half cows. ;)
