Title: Bachmann Turnout Question
Post by: Inspeqtor on April 30, 2017, 07:51:39 AM
I am in the process of building a new (very) small HO layout system.  I have the Bachmann E-Z Track System.
On the turnout I have I find both the red and green wires very short.

How do people use this when they need much more length?  Does Bachman make extensions possible to buy?

Thank you

There are extensions for both the red:

And the green:

Or you can cut what you've got, and splice in your own extensions. If you're not much on soldering, you can use wire nuts to make the connections.

Len,

Do they make any shorter length wires, or is 10 ft the only length available?

10 foot is the only length they make, if you want something shorter you will have to splice in your own wires.

The 10ft lengths are rather pricey, so splicing in your own would be much cheaper......

Thank you
