Is it ok to run two locomotives together? would it over load the power pack? I'm using the standard one that comes in the Bachmann galaxy set.
It depends on what the locomotives are and how much you are trying to pull and if you are "double heading" or running two separate trains. There are a lot of potential variables.
I think you would be OK.
I use a MRC Tech II 2400 on my layout to run two trains at one time, I have run two sets of Proto 1000 F3ABAs with no problem using this powerpack.
