Title: Handrails on HO Turntable
Post by: FTG1SS on August 06, 2017, 03:49:47 PM
Are the handrails supposed to be glued to the small nubs on the track section or do these nubs come out/drilled out?

Dear FTG,
The handrails may be glued into precast holes.
Have fun!

Unfortunately there are no  precast holes.  There are raised nubs right where the railing should go - Do I cut these out?  Will they pop out?   I really don't want to take the base apart to see.

Those "nubs" you see may, in fact, be the optional plugs to fill the holes.  The turntable has the option to put in the railings, or not put in the railings. Plugs are provided to fill in the holes.

Is it possible you are seeing plugs that can be removed?
