Title: DCC 5 Amp Power Booster
Post by: POF on August 23, 2017, 07:19:15 PM
If I am using EZ Track, how does one connect the wires from the Power Booster.  I see in the instructions how to connect to the EZ Command unit, but all it says is to connect the wires to the track.   Does this mean solder and ignore the plug ins on the rerailers?

And, I understand that DCC runs better on the nickel silver track.  Can that be mixed with the steel track or should I just scrap it all and go with flextrack and DCC turnouts.  I am just beginning to put this together, but I have tons of the steel EZ track from previous DC layout.

Thanks for any advice here.

Dear POF,
You can use any method; power track and clip (44510), terminal joiners, solder, etc.
Have fun!
