Can someone tell me if the plug and socket used on this model is a standard "JST" type and if not what is it and where can I get some as one of my railbuses has a shattered socket and requires replacement.
Peter,I have what I consider a standard JST connector,and they do not fit the Bachmann bus trailer connectors.They are very close in size but would not fit either way of the connectors.The size of the JST socket is very close to the Bachmann,so you may be able to fit a JST socket to replace the Bachmann socket.The only problem I could see,is the cable on the JST connector is slightly heavier than the Bachmann,so flexibility of the wires may be an issue going around corners.......Peter
