Title: Lubricating a dcc non sound Bachman 38-2diesel
Post by: Big Blue on November 12, 2017, 09:58:25 AM
New to the hobby. How do I get to gears and what do I oil and lube on this model?
Do I pop off the wheel cover on the truck?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Correct. As you can see in the exploded diagram:

Use a small flat screwdriver to gently pry the ends of the truck cover off the tabs it hooks onto.

Use a grease intended for plastic gears.  Oil by itself isn't enough.
