Title: How to wire a layout
Post by: dhg on November 22, 2017, 10:24:52 PM
Where can I find detailed information on how to wire and build a specific layout.  I want to build a layout ezho2a.gif which can be found that his site: http://www.thortrains.net/marx/funlayez1.html

Specifically I'm want to build the layout which is in the 3rd pair of layouts down - the one on the left (of the pair in the 3rd row down).

I am looking for details on how to wire and build this layout.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is this all going to be E-Z Track?

Replace some of the 9" straights and 18 degree curves with terminal rerailers.  You can wire them all to your speed controller to avoid losing power over the great lengths of rail.

You may need some extension wires as well, Bachmann sells them in 10-foot lengths.

The answer to your question will depend on how you want to control it. Will you be wanting to run more than one train at the same time? What form of control will you use, DC or DCC?
