Dear Alson,
First of all, the EZ Command has no AC terminals, so you'll need another power pack as well.
Since only one or two switches throw at a time, 1 amp is usually fine.
Have fun!

The Bach-man is referring to the remote turnouts that require a separate dc power to operate, if you are using the DCC onboard decoder equipped one's then yes you will be able to operate them with the EZ Command. You will notice a slight surge when the turnout is thrown

Correct, decoders draw almost no power when idle, and the ones in the turnouts will only be active for a split second.
