Title: Automatic Whistling in Heisler.
Post by: Flare on January 13, 2018, 03:00:14 PM
My Heisler was programmed to whistle automatically when starting to move and stop, but I don't have access to the sheet the guy used to do this.

I like the simplicity of this arrangement, but not the fact that it uses long blasts to signal going forward instead of short toots like it does for reverse and stop.

The long ones sound melancholy to me, is there a way to set forward to two short toots instead of two longs?

Have a look at the Soundtraxx site for reference manuals.
It is standard operating practice to use two long whistles when going forward.
One short burst to stop and three short ones to go backward.
