I have an HO scale locomotive; item no. 50711, USRA 0-6-0 w/smoke and Vanderbilt tender - GN (purchased 10-15 years ago). I have lost the schematic, but my most immediate problem is that the part that attaches the lokie to the tender (can't remember what it's called) is no longer attached to the tender and is missing its screw. Can you help? Thank you!
The exploded diagram for this loco can be found here: http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/dwg/dwgs/50701.pdf
The part you're looking for is the drawbar, P/N 3276. You can purchase a replacement here:

I think he is missing the screw and not the drawbar. Bachmann does not show a parts number for the screw.
Then it's probably this screw: http://estore.bachmanntrains.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66_68_212&products_id=5941
It's the only one listed for the 0-6-0/2-6-0/2-6-2 that isn't for the trucks, underframe, or weights. It looks like a 2-56 x 3/8" Philips head.

There's such a thing as drill and retap.
To trainman203 : For most of us who actually have tools this would be simple . We also usually have a supply of washers , screws , and other assorted hardware available . But for many people repairing any thing is a challenge in our throw-a -way society . Sad but true . J2.
