Last year I rode on several 2-foot gauge trains in Maine and decided I wanted an On30 Forney to run on my otherwise HO layout. However, in previous years Bachmann Forneys had been easy to find but in the past year I haven't seen many at train shows, at online vendors, etc. This year (2018) at the Springfield Train show, one On30 vendor told me he heard the molds had been damaged which was why Bachmann hadn't released any in a long time.
Anyone else heard that? Is there any news on an upcoming rerelease of the Forney engines?

Hmmm.... That's news to us. The molds for all of the On30 products are fine. Production is gauged by demand. If enough dealers want to sell them then they will be produced again.
