Can you order parts from Bachmann or is it better to send a problem engine in to be repaired?
Not sure about parts but if you send the engine to Bachmann, you will more than likely not get the same one back. Maybe not even the same road name. Even if you send a note asking for the same engine back, don't count on it. I sent customised engines back and just received a stock engine as replacement.

If you're mechanically- and/or electrically-minded, you'd be better off just buying the parts from Bachmann, if they're in stock.
