Print Page - Ground wire

Installing Soundtraxx Tsunami2 in 3 truck Shay. Tsunami2 calls for ground wire but there is no ground in the wiring connection list. The only ground I see in the DCC wiring diagram is the blue wire from the ash box PCB. Can I use that blue wire as the called for ground?

You are using SoundTraxx Tsunami2 TSU-4400 decoder? If so, Ground terminal on decoder is not used.

Follow the Bachmann 1:20.3 Large Scale 55 Ton Three-Truck Shay. DCC Wiring Connection sheet

Study and use the info in the WIRING CONNECTION table in lower lefthand corner of the sheet to locate each wire in the Shay.

Thanks Hunt. Do you know if I have to add resistors to the LEDs?
