I have an SD-45 Spectrum and am trying to convert the Rapido couplers to Micro-Trains or similar and running into hurdle. Per the MT site conversion reference and other posts I bought the MT 1015 (assembled) conversion but the back of coupler body hits the truck housing. They also don't seem to fit real tight. Anyone overcome this hurdle? Thank you.
I just removed a small amount of material from the back of the coupler and box so the truck would clear.
