Title: DCC Crossover 44138 Issue
Post by: deide on August 23, 2018, 12:33:55 PM
Hello Bach Man,

I just purchased a DCC Crossover #44138 and I am having an issue with it.  I have minimized the track to only include the Crossover, three straight tracks and the powered re-railer track.   The top (left) switch does switch via DCC control.  The bottom (right) switch has no issues.  I am using the E-Z Command Control Centre.  I contacted Bachmann customer service and they sent me here.  Suggestions?

Thank you,

Doug

Hard to diagnose without seeing it. Was the product purchased new? Check the bottom of the switch to see if the both frogs are powered - refer to the instructions for how to wire them. Sounds like a wiring issue.

Thank you for the quick response.  Brand new, frogs are not wired and the unit came that way.

Regards,

Doug

I would check the wiring on the decoder and if you have no luck you can contact the retailer or the Bachmann service department for a replacement.
