I guess you could do the same with a trailer.

No idea if it's still there, but in the early 90's there was a red Peterbilt set up like that in the Maryland Food Authority warehouse complex in Jessup, MD, not far from MTH in Columbia. I figured it was used to shuffle loads/empties to and and from the warehouse docks. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera with me at the time, so no pics.
