Are there any Bachmann shells that will fit the frame of EZ APP GP 35 or RS 3.
While I am not 100 percent sure, I would think that any newer shell from a DCC equipped locomotive of the same type should work.
So any DCC equipped GP-35 and DCC equipped RS-3 should work for the swap.
Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to expand my fleet and was wondering if a GP38-2 or GP40 shell could fit on this frame. I model IC in the late 80s.
They would likely require varying levels of modification including possibly milling the frame. They would not be able to swap without modification unfortunately.
The GP40 and GP38-2 should use the same chassis, which is several scale feet longer than the gp30/gp35.
