I have been looking at some used dash 8's but the handrails are broken on all of them. i went into the parts list on the website but none are listed. Where can I get replacements if I get one of the locos I'm interested in. Thanks
Smokey Valley made a brass rail kit for the GE Dash 8 . They are hard to come by . Or make your own using Athearn blue box stantions and piano wire. Atlas made a GE dash 8 diesels ,but they are out of stock the same as Bachmann and I would bet they will not restock unless they restart production of them.
