Title: Using the 9" Power Terminal w/ insulated gap
Post by: GEverestB on October 17, 2018, 04:53:26 PM
Can I use a 9" Power Terminal with insulated gap (Model 44597) on my DC HO scale EZ Track layout instead of the 9" Straight Terminal Rerailer with wire?  Can I replace the insulated gap with regular rail joiners?

Yes, you can use the insulated gap track section instead of a terminal rerailer on a DC layout.  The power connectors underneath are the same.

Joiners won't work because the rails are molded into place in the middle, but there are swing-arms underneath that can electrically connect the two sides of the gap.
