Title: controlling analog track switches with DCC (N scale layout)
Post by: kevincasey on November 30, 2018, 02:02:11 PM
the track switches are not DDC switches - must use the analog 'Plug and Play' controller in conjuction with the DCC EZ command controller center - the 'Plug and Play' controller ONLY has the red power line going to the switches and NOT the red power line to the track - and the DCC EZ command controller center DOES has the red power line to the track - I am NOT using the DDC switch track sections - any help?

Find yourself a 14-18V 'wall-wart', rated at least 1 amp, and use it to power the switches. It doesn't matter if it's an AC or DC wall-wart.
I find a 16v unit works very well.
