Title: DECODER COMPATABILITY

Hi Guys,  I have a Bachmann F7A Item No 64302 with factory fitted sound decoder (soundtrax).  I also have a DC Bachmann 'Plus' F7B unit, item No 11221 which requires a compatable NON sound decoder for a more smoother running consist.  Your suggestions would be appreciated.

I have had good luck with Digitrax DH163 or DH165.

He might check the SoundTraxx page as SoundTraxx sells non sound decoders that were designed to allow easier programming to match up with the sound decoders. I remember seeing the advertising a few years ago from SoundTraxx.They are called Mobile decoders.
I have never tried it though.
