Title: Replacing Circuit board
Post by: blackbridge on January 17, 2019, 07:14:00 AM
I have just bought a new circuit board for a Class 66 to replace the existing damaged one. However I find that the wiring on the new board is different from the existing using in some cases different coloured wires. Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone offer any advice. Thanks.

I am not familiar with the loco or PC board. Are the labels on the PC board any help?
All my Bachmann locos had PC boards with labels.

Hi Rich thanks but these circuit boards came with nothing. I have asked for Bachmanns advice but all they say is follow the colours one by one. OK but this does not copoe with the different colours. They also say that this is a problem with the Chinese who make them.

If you can post pictures of both sides of both boards to Photobucket, Flickr, or whatever, then link the photos here it might help to figure things out.
