I have an old 2-8-0 Consolidation that is in pieces in the jewel case.
I cannot find the product sheet that came with it.
I checked online and can only find the product sheet for the new DCC model.
Is there anywhere I could download the older product sheet?
Because this has been sitting around for about a day with no response from "the Bach Man", I am going to suggest that you provide us with the model version you are seeking the sheet for. Some of us probably have one and could xerox that sheet for you. But, we need to know if you are talking about the non-DCC "Spectrum" version or the DCC on-board "Spectrum" version. Or is it possibly that old, much different non-"Spectrum" version?

Aren't there both "DCC ready" and "DCC on-board" "Spectrum" versions that are not in cardboard boxes?
Of the more recent releases there is DCC Ready, DCC-equipped and DCC-Sound. I took a wild guess and assumed he was talking about the DCC-Ready version.

Hi Mark, My Spectrum 2-8-0 Item Number 81156 is in a Jewel case and I would not consider it to be even close to being DCC Ready. I wonder if this is the DC version Will is looking for? The part number on my instruction sheet is N811X-IS001
Unless he's talking about the old white box versions from the 80's and 90's, they're all DCC Ready or DCC Equipped.

I'm Sorry Mark, but If you have to hard wire a DCC decoder into the locomotive, it's not DCC ready. If that were true, then Athearn Blue Box locomotives would be DCC ready. Quite honestly, a DCC ready locomotive will either have a light board that can be replaced with a DCC decoder or has a socket that a DCC decoder can be plugged into.
I'm still thinking Wills 2-8-0 is the 2001 version, in which case this product sheet is going to be the closest one he is going to find online

It's DCC Ready insofar as specific contacts are provided for wiring up a decoder. But you're right, it's not plug-and-play.
