Title: Register new engine
Post by: loosecaboose on March 03, 2019, 12:23:20 PM
Isn't there a place on the website to register a new unit? The card in the box os so folded I don't think it would make it through the mail.

I would flatten it out as best as possible. Put it in an envelope and mail it that way. I prefer the hard copy method.
I might have done that some years ago. Time's fun when you are having flies.

That's what I am doing rich1998. I just thought it is unusual today to not have an internet option.

There is absolutely no reason to waste time or a stamp on sending in a warranty card.

If or when it is time for a claim, all they care about is your original receipt for the unit.

The warranty cards can go in the garbage with no effect on your warranty eligibility.

KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!

It seems to me that locomotives characteristically die on one of two days:

1. The 11th day after purchase when the discount house has a 10 day return policy.

2.  The 366th day after purchase when there is a year warranty by the manufacturer.
