Title: Buying a Northern lights train set
Post by: Christine5bh on September 27, 2019, 05:41:13 PM
Hi,
Just looking for some advice on the northern lights Christmas train set.
We've watched loads of Christmas train videos today and LOVE the Bachmann G scale trains, especially the northern lights train set but we are struggling to find any for sale! We came across some reviews that said the leds make the train set less valuable/desirable?

So a) should we buy a northern lights set; the night before Christmas set or the white Xmas set?
And B) Does anyone know of a northern lights set for sale and if so how much? (We are UK based).
Thanks!

If you click the "search" box at the top of the page and put in "Northern Lights" (with the quotation marks on each side), there are a number of threads that discuss the Northern Lights sets.

BEWARE!  O BEWARE OF USED TRAINS!  Unless you don't mind it not operating on Christmas morning when you set it up. 😱🤬

Great advice thank you both!
I now understand why the northern lights one may be less popular and we definitely do not want be be disappointed when a second hand one doesn't work!
I think we've decided to buy a (brand new) night before Xmas or white Xmas set and add a extra carriage for effect!
Thank you
