What I find mesmerizing is that is that looking at railroads and surrounding areas from a drone's point of view is pretty close to how our model railroads are seen while standing next to the layout table.
As realistic as some model layouts are, the fact is those scenes are rarely viewed from that angle.
(Anyone ever build a layout at eye level? ;))
Davis......those were pretty much my thoughts too. I found myself looking at some of the "real" scenery and thinking it looked more like a "model" railroad than anything.
