HUGE QUESTION? #MTHonEZcommandDCC
Has there ever been any issues running a MTH HO Proto Sound3(PS3) on a Bachmann EZ Command DCC controller?
I just purchased a MTH HO (NEW) DASH-9 Locomotive and it WILL NOT MOVE or Power Up even in F3 mode or PressingF3. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Note For budget reasons I use EZ-COMMAND DCC. My Bachmann EZ-COMMAND DCC is the latest version runs existing other DCC Locomotives with no Issues. Here is a view of my DCC+DC 7x4 Layout:

Please Advise... Or Do I send the Locomotive back to MTH?
Have tried all their trouble shooting... and still NOTHING!
Just curious if there are known issues running Bachmann EZ-COMMAND DCC controller MTH Locomotives

MTH locos, IF YOURS IS NEW, come preprogrammed with two addresses: 3 and 3333. You will not be able to change those addresses without a programmer like JMRI or some more equipped DCC system. Theoretically, you can run MTH on EZ command, but you need an upgraded system to set the loco, or a friend with a system who can do it for you.
MTH locos, when new come with instructions on how to set up the loco to run on other DCC systems. Just sayin'

Before even posting on Bachmann forums.
And nothing works. Very surprised because never
had any problems with my other DC and DCC
Locos. Never a problem.
This locomotive is both DC/DCC operating and it doesn't even

I am starting feel this brand new MTH is a Dudd
It should work with EZ-COMMAND even DC mode.

I have a local train hobby shop about 30 Miles away.
I may take it up there and consult with them as well.
This is such a bummer...get a new locomotive at $150+ dollars
and it doesn't work!

Reading on other forums, MTH is not totally compatible with DCC. Do a Google search.
