Title: ACS-64
Post by: 1trackmind1206 on March 17, 2020, 12:56:11 PM
Hey Everybody, I just got a Bachmann HO ACS-64 and the TCS Keep-Alive in it is not working. I was just wondering if anybody has had any similar problems with these units.

Thanks,
Ben

How about telling us what DCC system you are using and what procedure, procedures you used?
Did you try a factory decoder reset? First thing I do when a decoder seems to be wonky.

Make sure the keep alive is charged up. It can take up to a minute for it to happen. Also the keep alive only works for about 10 seconds or so then has to recharge.

I am using an NCE Power Cab and have tried to reset the decoder to factory settings. I have also tried to reset CV 128 (The Keep-Alive CV). When I run the locomotive I will run it around the layout for a few minutes and then take it off the track and there is now movement or lights even for a short period of time.
