I purchased a Bachman N 63153 Also S4 DCC switcher back in November. Just now got it out of the box an on to the track. Can not get engine to go more than about 1" per minute, if at all. Fairly new at trains and DCC so not sure why it is not working. Have 4 other engines that I had no trouble with getting to work. I use the NCE Power cab controller.
Any suggestions is appreciated.
First thing I do when a decoder is wonky is a reset.
Cv8, enter 8. recycle track power. After about a few seconds, the headlight should flash sixteen times and the loco run on address 3. Make sure no other locos are one the track.
I have used the Power Cab in the past.
