Title: how to replace couplers/drawbar assy on car for acela passenger cars

my son broke acela passenger cars couplers/drawbar and tried to replace them
any diagram or tip for it?

Possible solution. No idea where to buy the couplers at this time. Others might know.
I did see a coupler in the Parts page but sold out.

I had the same problem.

I called the parts dept and they sent me exactly what I needed to replace the whole coupler mechanism.

Dunno if the pandemic is still affecting the parts people.

The fix was a touch complicated, but I figured it out.

If the coupler pocket isn't damaged one option is to use NEM shank knuckle couplers as a temporary replacement until you can get the correct 'drawbars'.
