Title: E-Z track wiring
Post by: Perryb on February 18, 2007, 02:40:22 PM
Hello
Im new to E-Z track & Im trying to wire some spur lines to my layout
so I can kill the track with Atlas selector switches.  I have installed
my insulated rail joiners & soldered a wire from the outside rail to the
switch but still cant get any power on the spur line past the insulated
joiner.    Any ideas here or has anyone done any wiring like this using
E/Z track?
Thanks

Perry

You need power to both rails.

Kalmbach's book Basic Model Railroad Wiring  is a great source for wiring instructions.
