Title: Niagara with sound
Post by: Cortland on December 30, 2007, 01:20:18 PM
When is Bachmann going to make a New York Central Niagara (4-8-4) with sound available? They did it with the Norfolk & Western "J."  There would be a much better market for a Niagara with sound than the N&W engine.

The current standard Niagra comes DCC on board.  It's a fairly simple matter to add  a sound decoder to it.   Whether it's more popular than the N&W J class is a matter of opinion.  I would buy neither.  A C&O J3 or a Milwaukee Road S class is something else.
Merry Sixth Day of Christmas

Didn't Broadway Limited bring out a Niagara? I doubt Bachmann would be interested in doing another Niagara. Let's face facts - there are many more Pennsy and UP fans out there.

By the way, Broadway Limited is currently advertising their upcoming release of a L-4 Mohawk.
