I have just been doing some decoder moving and i was wondering what Decoder comes with the 2-8-0?
I have just taken the decoder out of my 2-8-0 and put it in my shay, this is because i would like to fit my 2-8-0 with sound. I would like to buy another of the same decoder for my Climax.
Wile on the subject of DCC, anyone know the best sound decoder and speaker for the Bachmann 2-8-0?

My suggestion for the 2-8-0 would be the "Tsunami" light steam decoder.
Use the "QSI" high bass speaker.
I have two of these loco's with the "Tsunami" the sound is phenominal.
The motor control part of these decoders is great, the loco will run better
than it did as delivered.

Thats good to know, as my family has been saying what the CV to change the start speed step. Although no problem no as it doesnt have this problem in the shay.
