Title: UK (12Vollt DC) vs US operating
Post by: powdernoid on January 31, 2008, 12:35:38 PM
This might appear to be a REAL STUPID question but I have to ask it... I was looking at purchasing Thomas Engines on eBay from the UK. I was told the UK Thomas Trains run off of 12Volt DC & the train would not operate with standard US transformer.....
I am confused, can anyone help with this??

They work fine together. They use the same system.

I thought so but I wanted to be sure!!
That would be stupid for Hornby & Bachmann not to coincide with each other.
Thanks again
