Dear Bach-Man, could you put DCC in every Thomas Series engine so people won't have to worry about fiiting a tiny decoder inside?
That would jump the prices of the engines way higher than anyone would want, and production would take more time than usual.
Or atleast a DCC plug inside ??? ::)??!
The age the Thomas models are too young to understand DCC. The range is aimed at 6-8 year olds, and that age group are only really familiar with DC. DCC is probably too complicated for them, and to raise the price of the models would probably hurt sales. It isn't really hard to install a decoder, just work on your soldering.
