Title: Re-post of the Link to K-27 Counterweight Replacement
Post by: Rich Niemeyer on March 24, 2008, 11:10:50 AM
Bach Man,
Could you please re-post the link to the site that illustrates how to replace the counterweights on the K-27.  I can't seem to find it, and I'm ready to get started on the modification.  Thanks.

Rich,
Maybe this link http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/gallery/album49 is what you are looking for.

One thing that may save a re-do --  Not only do you have to get the screw out from under the end caps, but there are two washers in there as well.   I had one side done when I had a screw I couldn't get out thru the hole in the cap--had to go back and re-do that side.

Hunt,
Thanks for the link.  This is just what I needed.  Have a good day.  Glenn, I'll watch for that problem as I start to make the changes.  Counterweights are on the way.  Should be hear by Thursday or so.
