I also wanted to ask, it's it true that Bachmann is making Salty in 2009?
Yes Salty is the only new engine who is coming out with the 2008 range after Edward and Mavis are released.
Is salty really comming out this year? i think he'll be the modle for next year. becausebachmann just said this at the biggining of the year and said they will relece edward and mavis for about a year now.
Edward & mavis are actually available in november 2008 & salty comes in 2009.

This is just my opinion. I think that the reason some of the Thomas & Friends line has been dealyed because of Emily. Thats probably why Salty is the only one coming out this year. :-\
