Title: R/C Ten Wheeler - How to get at the batteries
Post by: granpab on April 13, 2008, 08:12:27 AM
I have an old (new to me) radio controlled Ten wheeler locomotive with plastic drive wheels.  I came fully operational and was demonstrated to be fully functional before I bought it.  Now I want to remove the batteries so that it can be stored for a while.

BUT - dumb as it seems - I just cannot find out how do I get the batteries out.  Can anyone tell me where to look and if there are any tricks.

Hi:

In the cab at the rear of the engine is the back of the firebox where you would put the coal. Push up on that and it will come off. The batteries are in there.

There are no dumb questions but there are some dumb answers.

Thanx Wade   ;D

. . . your answer was brilliant.  Found it easily and removed the batteries.

Many thanx
