Title: Missing Road Names
Post by: Larry S. on April 13, 2008, 09:04:24 PM
Did Bachmann make a D&RGW stock car or a OR&W caboose? If not, are they likely to be made in the near future?

I don't remember the stockcar, but, yes, they did make a O,R & W caboose round roof. no cupola).  I have one.  It is no longer made, I believe, since it was dropped from the 2007 catalog.  Probably will not be repeated.
Cheers

Hi, Larry,
I don't recall a Rio Grande stock car either, and none has been announced.
Sorry!

Hi Larry, hi Bach-man !

In fact, I can´t recall ever have seen a D&RGW Stock Car, but that´s for sure, the C&S Prototype wouldn´t fit for a D&RGW Prototype, but would do pretty well for a RGS-Type since they bought the old C&S Cars...

I have done that conversion myself with two Bachmann Cars.
Could get you a picture of that. It´s not much what needs to be converted, and I added San Juan Lettering - they look great now...

Kind regards, Tom

Tomcat, what do you use for the C&S doors?

also what do you do about the door opening the wrong way?
