Title: Percy has stopped
Post by: traindad52 on May 13, 2008, 10:37:01 AM
Hello, I'm new the the forum and need some advice. My son's Percy has stopped working and I am unable to figure out how to dis-assemble him to see what the problem is.  We are also considering going to DCC and I was wondering if anyone else has any sugesstions.  Thanks in advance for any help!

Well, Percy may have quit because of dirty pickups.  They are located behind the wheels.  Clean the track too.  That may help.
Hope this helps!

DCC demands clean tracks, although it increases the play value. Bachmann has a lifetime limited warranty, so you may want to send it back.

Thank you for the quick replys and the help. I'll try cleaning Percy this weekend. The trackwork is good and clean so I will concentrate to the engine.
