is it compatible with MSTS 2 or is there another simulator with the capability?

As MSTS 2 has not been released and is not scheduled for release until 2009, and Vista is M$'s latest OS, what do you think?
My computer is too slow for MSTS 1, so I probably won't be able to get version 2. If route builder is more user friendly I will get it though.
I couldn't get MSTS 1 to work decently on Windows X/P ,it loaded fine but I couldn't get the mouse to work properly. I loaded it into an old computer,since deceased, that ran Windows 98 and it worked fine there. Is Microsoft going to update MSTS 1 to run on X/P or Vista in the near future?

All development on MSTS stopped a few years ago and the product was discontinued. A year or so ago, M$ announced MSTS2 which, as I wrote below, is scheduled for release in 2009.
So, will M$ update MSTS 1? What do you think?

MSTS II and Vista is from the same publisher. The HAVE to work together.

MSTSX/2 due in fall will work on VISTA and ONLY VISTA is what I've heard.

Or at least it will work until SP2 is released for Vista, which will then cause conflicts with hundreds of existing drivers and DLLs.
