Title: Locomotive storage boxes

My local hobby shop has ho plastic box for 40" friegt cars . I was wondering if could use them for f9 engines . any suggestions or should i make my own of of wood.

How big are the boxes?

the boxes are 6 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" high. I hpe thats helps everyone

For general information; the 32oz Kraft Velveeta cheese comes in a handy stiff corrugated box 2½" x 2½" x 8" providing room for packing.

The Storage plastic boxes at local hobby shop are 8 1/2 x 3 1/4 x 2"  i  hope this helps.

you can figure this out yourself in about 2 seconds.

7.17" is longer than 6.5", so the answer would be no.
