It's a USATC S100 dockside shunter, as supplied to europe during WW2. I'm modelling one in 1950's BR condition, and here is the work so far:

I'm happy with the way it has turned out, and the colour is gloss, but not shiny gloss. :p
Here is the problem. I need a reliable HO scale chassis, preferably with outside cylinders. The ideal length of the chassis in 104mm, and 0-6-0. Any ideas?
Well you should use a bachmann motor. I'm not good with Chassis, but Bachmann uses all metal chassis for strength.

Jack, Southeastern Finecast make a chassis for a USA tank part number FC 183. Not sure if it'll fit your body as your looks like cast body?. The also have a kit F183 for a USA tank with outside walschaert's valve gear. Have a look at www.sefincast.co.uk
