Roundhouse has some nice 50' old time cars in Sante Fe that might work. ATSF and Santa Fe are the same railroad aren't they?

How "old timer"? 1890s, 1900s, 1920s, 1930s? Freight or passenger?

If you do a bit of digging, there are a LOT of manufacturers who do or did make "old" freight cars. Life Like, Bachmann, MDC/Roundhouse, Athearn, Atlas, Bowser, Accurail, IHC, AHM, Model Power, O&W Car Shops, BCW, ECW, Tichy, Funaro & Carmelengo, Westerfield, Sylvan, LaBelle, Mantua, Red Ball, Cannonball Car Shops, Varney.....the list goes on and on and includes HUNDREDS of different cars, from RTR to wood craftsman kits.

Most will say "go with Roundhouse". That's fine, but the selection is somewhat limited (five freight body styles, six caboose bodies, eight passenger bodies), and worse yet, they're mostly out of production (they were bought by Athearn which does still release them, but ONLY as limited-run RTR). The line does have hundreds of different paint schemes though (aggregate over the decades that they've been made).
