Title: 1:20,3 2-6-6-2 Articulated
Post by: Mescal on September 28, 2008, 12:29:35 PM
How long is the wheel base of the new 2-6-6-2 i 1:20,3? It has to fit on my rather short turn table.

Does it run on LGB radius 1?

Has been asked before. Learn to search!

It will probably run on 5 foot diameter track unmodified and 4 foot diameter modified.

"Prototype" wheelbase is about 400 inches divided by 20 is a 20 inch wheelbase.

Dear All,
It appears that the new loco will run on R2 radius, and with a minor modification it will go around R1.  I want to see a production model before I detail the discussed modification, however.
Have fun!

Took me a while to dig it up!
