HELP ME!! A buddy of mine just sent two parts to me for DCC installation. He removed these from a "Gas Mechanical" and I want to put them in my Climax. Now, here is the dilemma: My Climax MAY be "DCC" ready as I see an 8 pin plug on top of the board. Do I simply plug in Bachmann Part No. 44915? What is the other board for...It has two brass strips that appear to go to the motor...do I need this board???
The 8 pin plug is for the decoder, simply plug in your decoder...making sure orientation is correct. Other board handles lighting, etc., you just leave it alone.
