Title: metal wheelsets for older lionel 0-27 freight cars

does anyone know where metal wheelsets for 0-27 rolling stockcan be purcchased?

Hi Hobo,

We usually don't stock just the wheel sets.  We have complete trucks available in our service department.

Best bet is to go on the E- bag. You can even get just axles if you want.

You could ask the parts dept. of Big L.  However, depending on the trucks you have, the WBB freight car truck should be a "drop-in" for non-operating Big L post war cars which had all metal trucks, I THINK>
