I often refer to Don Strack's Utah Rails web site. I read earlier that he was trying to get someone to take over the site. It appears to be down at this time.

I imagine many years of research and work went into the "all time rosters". I should have copied the pages to my computer while it was still in operation. :(
Don's site is still listed at the bottom of the "UP Index" on this site.

Does anyone have any information about Don Strack or the site?
Thanks
Hi Bob
You might find some info in these links.

I know what you mean about downloading a site in case it goes away. I found that to be a great help with Harold's site as his as gone away a few times.

The site was down for several days. Don once stated that he was about to give it up due to all the renumberings, but I could not imagine him just dumping all that information. It's back up again, so I'm copying it all.
I'm mostly interested in steam. I found my UP Connie #618 was retired in 1957, still running in Heber Valley Utah. It's my favorite (have 4 of them). One of them is scheduled for a Tsunami.
Thanks
Here is a link to the WayBack Machine. You'll find copies of UtahRails going back to 2002. Check it out.

Ron -
Thanks for the Wayback site. I had accidently deleted a page from my website about a year ago. I found it on the Wayback site.
