my new new haven ep-5 will just stop and not do anything just light up at times and it seems real slugish it wont pull more than 4 freight cars and the dummy unit. I havent really gotton into it yet I was just looking for some guidance on were to look. thanks

I can't diagnose this one without seeing it. By the way the EP-5's with dummies are not a new product. We have not made dummy units in more than 10 years.
Send it to our service department if you cannot solve the problem on your own.

Thanks for the info, I know they are probably right about ten years old but they really never got used. Hopefully I can figure it out with a dvom if I can ever find a wiring diagram. do you know where I could find one.
